Blue Ostrich Argentina "Asado" style BBQ Dinner, Friday, September 12th At 6:30PM
Join us for an authentic Argentina “Asado” barbeque experience at Blue Ostrich Winery & Vineyard on Friday, September 12th. Our Blue Ostrich "Asado" will feature an 8 course meal paired with a vertical tasting of Blue Ostrich Cabernet Sauvignon from 3 vintages.
This will be a one of a kind culinary experience like no other. All menu items will be prepared on site by the chefs of Backroads Cuisine and will include:
- Made from scratch beef empanadas.
- Delectable Argentina chorizo slider.
- Morcilla sausage on bruschetta.
- Savory grilled sweetbreads.
- Tender pork flank with crispy edges.
- Flavorful beef picanha; tender juicy top sirloin cap grilled to perfection.
- Sides include: fresh crisp greens, traditional Tortilla de papas (potato cake) and homemade focaccia.
- Dessert course of Chocotorta; a layered cake of chocolate cookie and creamy dulce de leche. Argentina's favorite indulgence!
There will be a limited number of the featured library wines available for purchase night of event.
As part of this dinner package, guests will be treated to a vertical tasting of 2016 Estate Cabernet and 2021 Six Harts Bourbon Barrel Cabernet from our winemaker's library as well as our soon to be released 2022 Blue Ostrich Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
